Carol Tricoche's Promotion
|
|
|
Carol, who first joined STOTT PILATES in July 2006 as Sales Manager, Full Solutions, was recently promoted to Global Sales Director, Full Solutions.
In her new role, Carol will oversee a Global Full Solutions Team that will consult with and give ongoing support to facilities looking to add a customized Pilates program to their existing services.
Prior to joining STOTT PILATES, Carol worked as the Group Exercise/Pilates Director at the Claremont Club in California, where she pioneered a successful Pilates program which still continues to thrive today. A STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor, Carol also has certifications in Johnny G Spinning, AFAA Certifications: Personal Trainer, Weight Room, Group Exercise, STEP and Cardio Kickboxing. Carol also travels the world extensively presenting to various organizations and fitness facilities.

Tracey Harvey Joins the STOTT PILATES Team

|
Tracey Harvey joined the STOTT PILATES team as our new National Sales Director, Full Solutions, in late September.
Bringing 25 years of experience running Sales/Management Teams, Tracey's accomplishments include establishing educational programs that provided added value to the sale of Nautilus Fitness products. Tracy was also instrumental in creating an institutional sales infrastructure that sold more than 100,000 Spinning bikes in the U.S.
Tracey has considerable experience directly related to Pilates as well. She was the VP of Global Sales and Education at Peak Pilates, where she gained firsthand knowledge of not only the fitness industry in general, but also how Pilates relates to the industry as a whole.

Kerrie Lee Brown signs on as VP, Communications

|
|
Kerrie Lee Brown joined STOTT PILATES in late August as our Vice President, Communications.
Prior to joining STOTT PILATES, Kerrie was the Vice President, Publishing and Communications for FAME Media Group and the World Natural Sports Organization. Before that, Kerrie was the Editor-in-Chief of Oxygen Women's Fitness magazine and Founding Editor of American Health & Fitness Magazine.
Kerrie has enjoyed a successful career in the health and fitness industry as a freelance writer, magazine consultant, spokesperson and editor. She has written hundreds of articles on exercise, nutrition, beauty, motivation and weight-loss, and has overseen numerous successful magazine launches and re-vamps. Kerrie continues to consult on magazine launches, as well as participate as a motivational speaker for the fitness industry.

Lisa Toppan appointed National Sales Manager
|
|
|
Lisa Toppan joined the STOTT PILATES team as our new National Sales Manager, Retail on September 10, 2007. She has over fourteen years of experience in business development, sales, and account management including six years at Starbucks Coffee Company in the Business Alliances Division.
Lisa comes to us with a solid track record in business-to-business sales, consumer packaged goods sales and has proven herself with expertise in product knowledge, distribution channels, and client relationship management objectives. She has helped grow numerous businesses and successfully achieved sales objectives for new and existing retail businesses.
Lisa’s clients have included mass/drug store chains, department stores, specialty stores and alternative re-sellers. We welcome Lisa to the team!

Announcing our new Senior VP, Marketing Holly Henderson
|
|
|
Before accepting the position of Senior VP, Marketing, Holly Henderson, BBA, CPSI graduate, first came on board several months ago as a marketing consultant.
Holly began her career in product management with Colgate Palmolive, Schering Plough Canada and American Express. One of her most notable accomplishments came during her time spent as Executive Director of the Kids Help Foundation, where she spearheaded the creation of the Kids Help Phone. Prior to establishing her consulting practice in 1992, Holly was Vice President with Product Initiatives and General Manager of SkyDome Fitness Club. She has also been a Partner at TouchLogic Corporation and Senior Vice President of Marketing at Portus Asset Management.
Holly will leverage over 25 years of experience to create synergistic solutions with her innovation and strategic skills as she leads the charge for all STOTT PILATES marketing initiatives. Welcome Holly!

A teaching evaluation involves leading a STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainer through a workout, so that he or she can evaluate your teaching abilities as well as provide you with valuable feedback. A maximum of 0.4 credits can be allocated for teaching evaluation sessions.

Sitting on right hip with right hand on mat. Knees together and top arm long against top thigh, holding on to Toning Ball. Keep lower side of torso engaged and shoulder blades stabilized on back.

Stabilize underneath shoulder blade and lift underneath hip up off of mat placing weight evenly onto hand and bottom knee. Contracting inner thighs, abs and glutes. Simultaneously, keep top arm straight and reach overhead.

Lower with control down to starting position.

Complete 3-5 repetitions. Repeat on other side.
