Full Rules and Regulations
1. ELIGIBILITY
The Win a V2 Max Plus Reformer contest is open to delegates attending the following Trade Shows in 2009 where STOTT PILATES has an exhibit booth: ECA NYC, Body Mind Spirit, IDEA Fitness Fusion, Can-Fit-Pro Whistler, IDEA World Fitness, DCAC Alexandria, Can-Fit-Pro Toronto, ECA Miami, Club Industry. STOTT PILATES has the right to add or delete additional shows prior to the trade show. Contestants must reside in Canada (excluding Quebec) or the United States and have reached the age of majority in the province, territory or state in which they reside. Representatives, employees, agents, advertising and promotional agencies, affiliated and related companies of STOTT PILATES, SPI Holdings, Merrithew Corporation its affiliates and subsidiaries are not eligible to enter or win a V2 Max Plus Reformer.
2. HOW TO ENTER
Onsite Entries: Trade Show Attendees at any of the following trade shows in North America (with the exception of Quebec) are eligible to enter to win a V2 Max Plus Reformer, by completing a ballot onsite or providing a business card in the ballot box at the following events: ECA NYC, Body Mind Spirit, IDEA Fitness Fusion, Can-Fit-Pro Whistler, IDEA World Fitness, DCAC Alexandria, Can-Fit-Pro Toronto, ECA Miami, Club Industry.
3. PRIZE DESCRIPTIONS
1 V2 Max Plus Reformer will be awarded, along with the following accessories: 1 Pro Reformer Box, 1 Pro/Rehab Mat Converter, 1 Padded Platform Extender, and 1 Large Jumpboard.
Prize Restrictions:
- The Prize has no cash equivalent, is not redeemable for cash, is not transferable or refundable and cannot be bartered.
- The Prize must be accepted as awarded.
4. DRAW DATES
The draw will be held by STOTT PILATES located at 2200 Yonge Street, Suite 500, Toronto, ON M4S 2C6 in the month of December 2009. The winner of the V2 Max Plus Reformer will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received. The selected entrant will be contacted by telephone within 10 business days from the availability of the winner's information and will be given instructions on how to claim his/her prize. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted within the above time period (10 business days from the availability of the winner's information), does not comply with the Rules and Regulations herein or cannot be awarded the Prize, another selected entrant will be drawn.
5. SUBSTITUTION
The Prize must be accepted as awarded. No substitution of the Prize is permitted. The Prize has no cash equivalent, are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash or credit, in whole or in part.
6. CLAIMING A PRIZE
i) The selected entrant will be advised by phone or in writing of the details of how to claim their prize.
ii) In order to claim the Prize and to be declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to:
- correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by mail;
- sign a declaration of release form stating that he/she has read, understood and complied with the Rules and Regulations of the contest; stating that he/she accepts the prize as awarded;
- discharge and release STOTT PILATES and their partners from any and all claims for damages, losses or injuries resulting from this contest.
Failure to complete the declaration of release form will result in the prize being forfeited and another entrant will be drawn. If a selected entrant does not reply within seven (7) days from the date they were first contacted, or if they do not comply with the Rules and Regulations, the prize will be forfeited and another entrant will be drawn.
7. GENERAL RULES
STOTT PILATES reserves the right to publish, without compensation, the name and address of the prize winner. If an eligible winner does not comply, STOTT PILATES reserves the right to declare the contestant ineligible to win. The winner shall be responsible for declaring his/her prize to the appropriate revenue authority, if applicable, and shall comply with international conventions and laws. He/she assumes all responsibilities concerning the winnings. The prize winner has the sole responsibility of paying any taxes, duties and shipping connected to the prize, if any.
The judges will be responsible for confirming the validity of entries received. All decisions by the judges relating to this contest will be final.
No correspondence will be undertaken, except with the selected entrant and winner who will be notified by mail, email, or phone of the arrangements for receiving and redeeming his/her prize. Please allow 6-8 weeks for receipt of prize/prize instruction from receipt of signed declaration and release form.
The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
Contestants may obtain the name of the winner by writing to:
STOTT PILATES, 2200 Yonge Street, Suite 500 Toronto, ON M4S 2C6, Canada and including a 9.5 inch x 4 inch self-addressed, stamped envelope between January 1, 2010 and March 1, 2010.
STOTT PILATES, its advertising and promotion agencies, partners, employees and persons whom they are domiciled and the contest judging organization are not responsible for: a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Contest Website users or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries in the Contest; b) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation of the contest c) any communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; d) any problems with, or technical malfunction of, any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or failure of email which may occur for any reason whatsoever, including technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof; or e) any injury or damage to entrants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Contest.
STOTT PILATES reserves the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual from the Contest and to ban the individual from any future contest of STOTT PILATES that they find or believe to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, to be acting in violation of the Official Rules and Regulations or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by an entrant or any other person to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, STOTT PILATES reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If the Contest is not capable of running as planned for any reason, STOTT PILATES reserves the right at their sole discretion to, without advance notice, terminate or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part, or modify it in any way.
