MATWORK EXAM
Following the postural analysis and Basic Principles the student guides their subject through a workout for the remaining 40 to 50 minutes.
The student takes their subject through a workout that combines Essential and Intermediate level exercises. For Level 2 certification, Advanced level exercises should also be incorporated (person chosen as subject should be capable of doing required exercises safely).
The time allotted for the workout portion of the exam will not allow for the completion of all exercises in the Matwork repertoire. The student must ensure that the exercises chosen represent a well-rounded workout that addresses all aspects of movement (i.e. flexion, extension, rotation, etc.) and cover the appropriate amounts of essential, intermediate or advanced exercises, while being appropriate to the person they are working out.

minimum 8 Essential, four Intermediate exercises
level 2:
minimum 4 Advanced exercises (in addition to above)

REFORMER EXAM

Following the postural analysis the student guides their subject through a workout for the remaining 1 hour and 40 minutes to 1 hour and 50 minutes.
The student is allotted approximately 20 minutes to take the subject through Essential and Intermediate level Matwork exercises. For Level 2 certification, Advanced level exercises must also be incorporated (person chosen as subject must be capable of doing required exercises safely).
The student is allotted approximately 30 minutes to take the subject through a Reformer workout that combines Essential and Intermediate level exercises. For Level 2 certification, Advanced level exercises must also be incorporated (person chosen as subject must be capable of doing required exercises safely)
The student is allotted the remaining 50 to 60 minutes to take the subject through a workout utilizing the Cadillac (15 minutes), Stability Chair (15 minutes), Ladder Barrel (10 minutes), Spine Corrector (5 minutes), and Arc Barrel (5 minutes) that combines Essential and Intermediate level exercises. For Level 2 certification, Advanced level exercises must also be incorporated (person chosen as subject must be capable of doing required exercises safely)
