Designed for individuals with strong anatomy training, a minimum of three years experience teaching dance, fitness or movement, and familiarity with the works of Joseph Pilates, these intensive, hands-on courses will prepare you to teach the complete repertoire of STOTT PILATES exercises effectively and with confidence.

PREREQUISITES
The intensive courses above are recommended for certified fitness instructors, personal trainers, and other fitness & health professionals who want to expand their knowledge and enhance their business. Applicants must have, at least three years experience teaching fitness, dance or movement, familiarity with the works of Joseph Pilates, formal anatomy training and a working knowledge of muscle origins, insertions and functions, in order to attend the course.

Instructor Trainer: Carla Hales
InHales Pilates Techniques is owned and operated by Carla Hales, who provides complete STOTT PILATES certification, graduate courses as well as workshops.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Carla has been an STOTT Instructor-Trainer* since 1999. She has taught intensive and comprehensive programs as a team member of Instructor-Trainers under Moira Merrithew and was associate technical director for several of the companys instructional videos.
Traveling throughout the states and internationally as for STOTT, Carla has also taught workshops in the San Francisco Bay area training pilates instructors in Northern California. She is director of AVAC's Pilates Studio and Programs and has made California her home since 2000.
Carla holds a Honors Degree in Dance from Canada's York University, is an A.C.E Certified Personal Trainer and is recognized as a continuing education provider by the American Council on Exercise.
