Studio Manager


Responsible for the sales and marketing initiatives of the client studio to increase current client usage as well as build new client relationships.


Experience:

  • Solid understanding of the fitness industry and sales process

  • Sales and client relationship management experience

  • Exceptional communication with a proven track record of building and establishing long-term relationships

  • Genuine drive and enthusiasm to succeed in achieving goals

  • Background in the Health/Fitness industry as either an experienced Membership Sales Manager or Club Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning & budgeting

  • Perform cost-benefit analysis developing studio revenue goals and prepares budget reports against these goals

  • Accountable for the development and execution of all elements of the Studio marketing/sales plan including coordinating studio advertising, promotions, media relations, and direct mail lists etc.

  • Develops & implements marketing plan

  • Develops & implements strategies for revenue generation & customer retention

  • Initiates external sales calls/initiatives/campaigns

  • Handles inbound sales calls to promote the studio and increase business

  • Cross promotions with companies in the area

  • Researches, recommends & coordinates new programming opportunities and completes required marketing (e.g. newsletters, magazines, internet, etc) for these programming opportunities

  • Develops and implements instructor incentive program with assistance from studio supervisor

  • Identifies, researches, develops & completes relevant studio media relations, special events, studio promotions & advertising campaigns

  • Handles any escalated customer relations calls associated with the studio

  • Approves instructor, Instructor-trainer & apprentice scheduling

  • Performs annual reviews for all instructors
